Abstract: Enter the Voit (Fussnoten) is a collaborative video-essay that has been formed together with Selma Lindgren in Vienna, 2020. Foremost it more or less literally surveys the topics death and holiness at the Viennese Central Cemetery. The camera together with the spoken ‚footnotes‘ inter-view the sometimes very personal semiotics of the old cemetery: peoples names and short notes, arranged flowers, crosses and other objects on a particular grave or amongst several tombs. These ensembles start a dialogue. What can we hear here looking closely or sometimes just glancing over and passing by?
