Leidplanke / Nazaré can literally be seen as an ongoing project. I like to call it a ‘performative sculpture’ that can be spontaneously placed here or there like a sign or tag. It accentuates or measures space and its dimensions, it can sweetly reformulate our perception and movement in the city. Further down, you can read some more scrambled thoughts (in German) about the literal form – the L – of the 6m piece of aluminium, which is usually no more than material for framing a painting. Here the frame re-frames situations in the city of Berlin.
