Happy to share some impressions from my first solo exhibition in Halle (Saale) @ Büro für. It was a lovely and funky experience to turn the @buerofuer space into a little ‘Chaotic Gravity Centre’. Some new and some older paintings, drawings, some stretcher bars, chairs, a traditional Turkish flute (nay) and a Mikado game came together nicely. Plus: some peanuts. Of course.
The theme comes from a sweet and clever essay (‘Death and Text’) by Nataniel Christgau on Roberto Bolaños 2666. Again, as so often, I felt very much in touch with my old and beloved theme and my theory of ‘Wild Reading’.
